Another very successful Tea Dance was held at the College on  Wednesday 16th June 2010 with the usual mix of generations attending along with the newly appointed Mayor of RCT, Cllr Simon Lloyd.

This November is the centenary of the Tonypandy Riots and the specially themed event reflected the fashions and food of 1910. In addition to the usuall help provied by College students, pupils from Pontrhondda Junior School joined in by wearing outfits made from their recent “Dress Up and Go” 1910 Project.  Music was provided, as always, by Alsion on the keyboard.

Artifacts from the Rhondda Heritage Park were on display, as well as information posters  and pictures from events of the time.

A special appearance was made by Sophie Evans who sang two songs from her recent television appearance on ” Over the Rainbow”  much to the delight of all those present.
