Rhondda AM and Education Minister Leighton Andrews visited the College on Friday (26.11.2010) to meet with students studying in Post16
The morning started with a tour of the newly developed outdoor space at the College and included the gardens at the front of the school as well as the organic allotment.
The ongoing development of the site has been made possible by a grant from the Countryside Council of Wales, representative of which were present on the tour, as well as support from the College, Awards for All and the Co-operative.
At the organic allotment horticulture students were on hand to share their learning experience and skills. Both of which were enthusiastically commented on by all.
Students studying in Post16 were then able to take part in a question and answer session with the Minister. Questions were raised and answered about Post 16 education, university fees, EMA and the upcoming devolution vote next year.
