Students from the College joined with community members at a memorial service to remember the 31 men who lost their lives on 17th May 1965 at the site of the Cambrian Colliery, Cwm Clydach. The service led by Father Peter was held at the memorial on the site of the colliery.
Connor Griffiths (Head boy) and Abbey Jones ( Head girl) read a poem dedicated to the men who lost their lives whilst students sang Cwm Rhondda led by Mr Martin Childs.
This week sees a series of special assemblies being delivered to year groups. A minute silence was also held in the school on Monday.
