Tonypandy Community College magically transformed itself into Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry for World Book Day.
The annual UNESCO event to promote literature and reading saw the staff and students don their favourite Griffendor scarf or Slitherin cloak for a Harry Potter-themed day.
The English and Performing Arts Departments decorated their classes and corridors to create an authentic learning experience while plenty of activities took place honouring the work of J.K.Rowling.
As the author put it herself in The Philosopher’s Stone, “Words are, in my not-so-humble-opinion, our most inexhaustible source of magic.”
