Dear Parent/Guardian,

Our trip to the Urdd camp at Llangrannog is now imminent. I would just like to take this opportunity to confirm a few last minute details. The arrangements are as follows;

Friday May 5th – Students are allowed to come in to the College on this occasion in casual clothes. Please use your discretion and bear in mind that they have 3 lessons before they leave, so please ensure that the clothing is appropriate. A member of staff will be in reception from 8.15 to meet students and take their luggage to a storage area. Coach will depart TCC at 12.30.

Sunday May 7th  – We aim to return to TCC at approximately 3.30pm, but this is dependent on centre staff at Llangrannog and the morning activities. I will ensure that your child gets in touch with you on the journey home should there be any significant delay. Please can ensure that you collect your son/daughter promptly, as pupils and staff will be very tired and anxious to arrive home.

May I also remind you that students are not advised to bring expensive items such as mobile phones, IPad’s or portable games consoles; as they may be lost or damaged, and neither the school nor the Urdd can be held responsible for their safe-keeping.

A full list of necessary items and any further information was provided along with the Urdd health forms, however can I please remind you that it is essential that pupils bring casual, warm and waterproof clothing.  Should you have any other concerns or need any general advice please do not hesitate to contact me.
