On the 6th May-8th May 2010, 44 Year 7 students attended a 2 day residential course at the Urdd Centre, Llangrannog, along with 6 members of staff and 8 Key Stage 4 students as Prefects or ‘SWOGS’. The purpose of the trip was to improve upon Welsh studied at Key Stage 3. The trip was a success with students participating in activities such as Trampolines, Skiing, High Rope Course, Tobogganing, Go-Karts and Horse riding. A good time was had by all students and staff and we are looking forward to a possible return visit when the year 8.

A big ‘Diolch’ to the staff involved in the trip, Miss Musgrove (who celebrated her birthday for the second year running at Llangrannog!!), Mr Cruickshank, Mr Evans, Miss Davies and also our 2 UWIC students, Miss Rattray and Miss Frederick. Well done to the Key Stage 4 students who were very helpful at all times, and have been highly commended by Llangrannog staff who have invited them to help out at local Urdd activities in the future. These students were Sam Baker, Amy Oliver, Charlotte Lewis, Bryony Peck, Ieuan Farnham, Theresa Bowsher, Daniel Leader and Rhys Hughes.”
