When the 3 o’clock bell rang and pupils left school for the day whilst staff and students prepared for an evening to showcase the College to Year 5 & 6 pupils and their parents.

As we add the finishing touches, parents and their children begin to fill the main hall at an estimated crowd of 200. The evening commences with an introduction from Dr Griffiths and a few brief words from Mrs O’Sullivan.

We then enjoy a selection of speeches from Megan Richards, Abigail Ceesay, Thomas Miles, Ian Smith, Katie Hewett and Emma Wakeford, informing parents and pupils of their experiences at the College and easing any worries they may have previously had.

To conclude the presentations, we enjoyed a musical number from Year 13’s performing arts class who performed a compilation of songs which had everyone singing along.

Parents and pupils were then placed into groups and taken on a tour around the college; of which the guests thoroughly enjoyed.

The evening ended on a high where our kitchen staff kindly prepared meals and refreshments for all.

A selection of pictures from the evening.
