A massive round of applause must be given to all of the performing arts students who represented the college at the annual mayor’s charity event. Students from year 7 right up to year 12 gave an outstanding performance at the Muni Arts Centre to a sold out audience, showcasing their hard work with energetic dance routines and powerful vocals.

Also, as part of the Welsh Baccalaureate qualification, a trip has been organised for a group of students to visit the Welsh Assembly in Cardiff Bay. This will support the Wales, Europe and the World module. The day will consist of a number of workshops based on the UK Parliament and National Assembly for Wales, which will improve students’ understanding of the key issues involved in the module
