Year 12 students have now started their individual investigations for the Welsh Baccalaureate. Students have already chosen their key topics, ranging from teen pregnancy to mental health, which they will conduct an in depth investigation of in both wales and a comparative country of their choice. This is a key element of the qualification, developing analytical and research skills that are vital for independent study.

Post 16 will also be visiting the UCAS Higher Education Convention at Cardiff Metropolitan University; an exhibition of various universities across England, Scotland and Wales, providing key information on courses that are on offer for students next year.
