Students from the College travelled to The Pierhead building in Cardiff  Bay today to take part in a celebration of the Spice Time Schools Project.

Hosted by  Leighton Andrews AM, Minister for Education and Skills together with Spice,  students celebrated the achievements of the project to date as well as sharing their experiences with the invited audience.

The project encourages young people to get involved in volunteering to the benefit of the schools and their communities.

To date four schools from South Wales area:- Tonypandy Community College, Pontypridd High, Glyn Derw High School and Michaelston Community College have piolted the initiative  whcih will be rolled out to other secondary educational establishments from September 2012
