My name is Ludivine, I’m 22 and I’m French. I’m the new Foreign Language Assistant. I’m from the west side of France,  between

Brittany and Bordeaux, an area called ‘Poitou-Charentes’, and more specifically a small village called ‘Chiché’.

In France I passed a ‘Baccalaureat Litteraire’, focused on Languages (French, English, Spanish, and Russian), and Humanities (History,Geography and Philosophy). Then I joined the university in Poitiers where I studied Law.

Last year I moved to Wales to study Law at Cardiff Law School. I like sports, especially gymnastics.  I also like reading, and I love eatinggood food. This year as a French Assistant, I’m going to be working with classes throughout Years 7, 8, 9 and 11. Years 7 and 8 will have the opportunity to learn basic holiday French in small groups through games and drama. Years 9 and 11, will follow the topics that they are currently studying, focussing on pronunciation for those preparing for their GCSE.I am really glad to be joining Tonypandy Community College’s staff.
And I would like to thank Miss T. Mein and Mrs J. Ennis for making me feel welcome within the Modern Foreign Languages Department.
