Earlier this term  44 Year 7 students attended a 2 day residential course at the Urdd Centre, Llangrannog, along with 6 members of staff and 8 Key Stage 4 students as Prefects or ‘SWOGS’. The purpose of the trip was to improve upon Welsh studied at Key Stage 3. The trip was a massive success with students participating in activities such as Trampolines, Skiing, Rope Course, Tobogganing, Go-Karts and Horse riding.  The students were also fortunate enough to have the opportunity to try-out the brand new HIGH rope course activity – which was enjoyed by all! A good time was had by all students and staff and we are looking forward to a return visit in year 8.

A big ‘Diolch’ to the staff involved in the trip Miss Davies, Mr Cruickshank, Mr Evans and also our 2 UWIC students, Miss Rattray and Miss Frederick. Well done to the Key Stage 4 students who were very helpful at all times, and have been highly commended by Llangrannog staff who have invited them to help out at local Urdd activities in the future. These students were Sam Baker, Amy Oliver, Charlotte Lewis, Bryony Peck, Ieuan Farnham, Theresa Bowsher, Daniel Leader and Rhys Hughes. Da iawn pawb!
